Pastor Patrick and Leanne are thrilled to be joining Jennerstown Community Church, serving alongside all of you in mission and ministry! Pastor Patrick is originally from South Jersey, and Leanne is from New Holland, PA. Meeting in the middle of the pandemic, Patrick and Leanne had their first date on August 28, 2020, and a year later were married on that same date! Caden Patrick Buckner, Patrick and Leanne’s son, was born on June 22, 2023, and tragically passed away on July 28, 2023. Patrick and Leanne mention their son’s passing because they fully believe the Lord faithfully walks with His people in the darkest depths of the valley to the highest mountain top experiences. They also believe that in all seasons of life, offering to the Lord the praise He deserves never ceases.

Pastor Patrick is close to completing his Master of Divinity at Wesley Biblical Seminary (Spring 2025), and has a strong calling toward pastoral leadership, counseling, discipleship, and spiritual formation. His experience in church ministry stems as far back as 2008 in being appointed as a worship pastor, and within the last six years, associate pastoral ministry. Leanne has many years’ experiences in administrative duties consisting of such places as the American Cancer Society, and Dart Container in New Holland. Leanne is gifted in organizational details, graphic images, and outreach planning, and she brings her gifts to offer them in the secretarial position at JCC. Beginning in 2021, Leanne had the vision of operating a non-profit organization that would meet local needs monthly and tell of the Good News that is found in Christ. The name of this organization is Unashamed Ministries and is still marching forth all for the cause of Christ, and to Kingdom build. Pastor Patrick and Leanne are looking forward to the new things that the Lord has planned, and the lives that the Holy Spirit will transform for His Glory, as Isaiah 43:19 ESV says, “Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.”
